When the big day arrives, and you’re ready to welcome new life into the world – we’re ready to make sure you have the best experience possible.
When you’re pregnant, you know you have a lot of really special moments to look forward to. Our free Birth Navigator service is designed to help you plan for the next few months. Think of your Birth Navigator as your personal guide for your journey to motherhood, who will give you valuable information, discuss your labor options and birth preferences, provide an escorted facility tour and help connect you with prenatal classes and services. Schedule your session here.
We bring experienced, female photographers from Bella Baby Photography to the Mother/Baby floor to capture your baby’s first photograph with a natural, artistic style. Your professional mini photo shoot takes place in the comfort of your hospital room on the baby’s first full day of life. Parents and siblings are also encouraged to participate to create a beautiful family experience.
Photos are edited into an online, custom slideshow for you to view shortly after your session. Online viewing and ordering is password protected and only available to those with whom you share your password. This is a great way to share the birth of your baby with family and friends. Online galleries will be available for 14 days after the photos are taken.
After you’ve had your baby, your new family will share many special moments together. But it can be tough to enjoy those moments if every time dinner rolls around, your husband, partner or support person has to go find something to eat. That’s why we’re now offering three meals a day for your support person too. Spend less time running out for food and more time with family.
The day you bring a new life into the world is a day worth celebrating. So we’re introducing a new, free gift box for new moms and families called the Birth Day box. It contains a whole lot of fun little surprises for mom, baby and the whole family, and even a sweet treat from local favorite Dreamcakes.
Our spacious Mother-Baby rooms resemble a hotel suite more than a hospital room, tastefully appointed with beautiful views, ample storage, a comfortable sleeper sofa for your loved one and a large bathroom with a shower and bidet.
Join us for happy hour every afternoon with a delicious smoothie. During your stay, you and your support person will enjoy a delicious healthy smoothie delivered to your room.
We’re proud to have developed a number of partnerships with local businesses that are all designed to make life a little easier, so you can spend more time enjoying it with your new family. Ask us about these new partnerships, which include everything from grocery delivery with Shipt to discounts from local merchants like Cookie Fix, Swaddle and more during your Birth Navigator session.
Mothers looking to make a big difference for patients facing life-threatening conditions have a great resource right after labor and delivery. By donating your newborn’s umbilical cord blood, you could be providing a stem cell transplant to a patient whose life depended on it. These cord blood cells can be collected, preserved and later used as a source of stem cells for transplantation for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, and other life-threatening blood diseases. Talk to your doctor if you are interesting in learning more about cord blood donation.
At some point during your hospitalization, your baby may require additional nutrition to supplement your breast milk. In these cases, we have pasteurized, donated breast milk available for our patients. The American Academy of Pediatrics, the World Health Organization, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention agree that exclusive breast milk feeding is best, especially to those born prematurely.
NICView™ is an innovative, small camera system that transmits live, real-time images for parents and family members to view baby remotely when they can’t be in the NICU. Individually mounted at each baby’s bed space and conveniently out of the way for NICU staff to care for the infant, the cameras helps families bond with their preemie when they can’t be in the NICU.
