Your health is too important to leave to chance. Let us help you find the physician that’s right for you.
What is so rewarding about unmedicated childbirth?
- As an OBGYN it’s incredible to see a woman not only give birth, but also to see them go from self-doubt and fear of ‘can my body do this?’ to feeling strength and empowerment. I want my patient to feel freedom in how she gives birth. Labor and delivery is a natural process and I believe a woman should be autonomous in how she manages her experience.
What drives you to be in women’s medicine?
- I grew up with a single mom and her village of girlfriends that helped raise me. I had a very strong desire at a very early age to serve women as a physician. My main mission in my career is to inspire women, teach them about their bodies and give them knowledge of why doctors do what they do so that they can feel empowered to understand their bodies and understand the importance of the healthcare they receive.
What do you like to do when not serving patients?
- I love going to local farmers markets and listening to live music. I’m also an avid long distance runner. I’ve completed 6 half marathons and I’m now training for my first full marathon.
